This is a photo-collage of my living room. I teared up the photos of the real place and pasted them together with the photos of my model. I wanted to bring the real space and the model together in order to compare them. Also, I've drawn over the paper to make the whole collage more dramatic.
This is the model that I did to show how I'd like to transform my apartment. I'm only doing the living room since the living room is the most interesting part of my apartment. I extended the interior space and transformed the balcony into something more interesting and would attract me to stay there more often.
This is one side of the model that I transformed.
What we were doing in this workshop was to transform a space that we have the most access to. Thus, I chose the unit that I'm living. The problems that I think my apartment have is that there are not enough sunlight coming through from the window, which makes the place cold and dark, and it is quite depressing. Also, I'd like to make the balcony more interesting since I always like to stay outdoor and enjoy a cup of tea.
